About SAUF

The mission of Southern Arkansas University Foundation is to assist and coordinate in raising and managing funds and resources on behalf of Southern Arkansas University to be used exclusively in furthering the literary, scientific, and educational purposes of the university.

Volunteer Leadership

The SAU Foundation is directed by a Board of Governors who serve a term of three years. New governors are elected annually by the board from nominees suggested by the board, the alumni association, the SAU faculty, and friends of the Foundation. Governors receive no compensation for their services. Read more…

Foundation policies are established by the Foundation Board of Governors and are compatible with the policies of the University Board of Trustees. The SAU Foundation was chartered under Arkansas law in 1981 and is a 501 (C) (3) corporation recognized by the Internal Revenue Service. Read more…
