Why do I give?

“If we stop and think about this: We spend more time at work than we do in our on homes. So we call this our home away from home. We are proud of SAU and we want the best for the university. We can show people that we have the best accommodation for students and also for the community. We want our homes to be impressive, so if we all give our part, our home away from home will be very impressive. That’s what we all want.”

- Pam Vaughn

“To be a part of something big that I could never accomplish alone. I do not make much, and therefore can not contribute much, but when the BIG stones are laid for the foundation — there are still holes, and it takes the little stones to fill in those holes. I will never be able to be a “Reynolds” but I can be a ‘giver’ and a part of the bigger picture. The Reynolds’ would not have given their LARGE donation if they did not think that there would be a lot of other people willing to give their own small donation to complete the work, and it is the last drop that fills the cup!”
