Fincher Hall
Fincher Hall opened in August 2005 and is a 30,000 square-foot residence hall that can house 92 students in two-bedroom suites. Each room is double occupancy and shares a bathroom facility with an adjacent room. Other features of the facility include a computer/study lounge, classroom, and several lobbies for student activities. This was a $3.5 million project funded by public bonds.

Fincher Hall is home to the Residential College program. This living and learning program is a selective program for beginning freshmen that focuses on leadership development, civic engagement, and service learning. The goal of the Residential College is to graduate civic-minded individuals with developed leadership skills and abilities.
To become part of the Residential College, beginning freshmen must have an ACT score of 22 or above, experience in leadership, and past participation in community and civic activities. Students involved in the program will be required to complete 15 hours of community service and participate in a Residential College community project each semester. The students are given opportunities, including leadership retreats and special projects, to enhance leadership skills.
