South Arkansas Convention Center

Southern Arkansas University has the opportunity to dramatically impact the economy of south Arkansas and north Louisiana through the funding of a much-needed facility to provide access to concerts, exhibits, trade shows, and expositions that are currently held two to three hours away. The proposed convention center would benefit the region by bringing sporting, cultural, recreational and educational events that could impact the south Arkansas economy and increase enrollment at the University.
