Alumni and Friends gathered June 17th for the 6th annual Rip Powell Invitational held at Magnolia Country Club. Sponsored in part by Mustard Seed Wealth Management, the event featured 36 teams and raised over $24,000. This event began in 2011 with the purpose of renaming the football field in honor of Coach Raymond “Rip” Powell. A ceremony was held last fall to rename the football field in his honor. The event continues to raise money to enhance the facilities of the Mulerider football program.
