The Southern Arkansas University Foundation, its employees, and volunteers, often deal with information of a sensitive nature. Although some of this information may be public, in the sense that others may come across it from publicly available sources, the Foundation treats all of the information about donors and potential donors as confidential. Other information may be subject to mandatory protection under different federal and state laws.
The Foundation asks that you hold in confidence all of the donor and prospect information which the Foundation makes available to you. Specifically, the Foundation asks that you not disclose information about prospects, donors, and specific gifts or promises of gifts, unless there is a clear need to so in the context of planning or asking for a particular gift.
The Foundation also requests that all news about a gift or a pledge be released only at the direction of the Executive Director of the Foundation or SAU officials. The Executive Director of the Foundation is always available to answer questions about the Foundation’s privacy policies.
