The goal of our staff is to match a donor’s interests with an institutional priority resulting in an inspired gift due to the donor’s understanding of and commitment to the University’s mission and vision.
Gift Planning
A donor may designate SAUF as a beneficiary of their estate by naming the University in a will, as an insurance beneficiary, or through other types of estate planning.
Annual Gifts
Annual gifts are transferred to the University and expended for current programs. Annual Gifts may be designated for a variety of purposes.
Endowment Gifts
Southern Arkansas University Foundation manages endowment funds that support a variety of purposes including scholarships, academic and athletic departmental enrichments, lectureships, and professorships. Created in accordance with the wishes of the donors and the needs of the University, these endowments are permanent, with no invasion of the contributed principal.
Giving Opportunities
Gifts to SAUF are tax-deductible under the IRS 501 (c) (3) designation and may be in the form of cash, securities, stocks, or other tangible property. For specifics on the gifts that we accept, please see our Gift Acceptance Policy.
